Sound is vibration. Sound is movement.
When we speak or sing, the entire body is involved – every cell resonates. This is one of the reasons why the way we think about and speak to ourselves matters so deeply. The voice is not separate from who we are; it reflects our inner state. Throughout history, singing has been a natural part of human life. It has been used for rituals, healing, prayer, celebration, storytelling and emotional expression – from joy and play to grief and anger. The voice is closely connected to breath and to life itself, and when it is allowed to open and move freely, it can create a sense of connection and vitality beyond the usual.

The voice holds both our strength and our vulnerability. It carries our personality, our stories, our emotions – and it has the potential to both move and transform us.

I was educated at the Rhythmic Music Conservatory in Copenhagen, as a singer and singing teacher, and later returned to complete a postgraduate diploma in choral conducting. Today I teach vocal leadership in Denmark and internationally, working with both individuals and groups.

I compose and arrange music for choirs and have a deep passion for vocal expression in all its forms. I have contributed as a singer on Bobby McFerrin’s album VOCAbularies and work regularly as both a soloist and backing vocalist.

Here you can see the Bobby Mcferrin video Say Ladeo where I sing the soprano.
